Best Western Seven Seas

Yes, the rooms are "stuck in the 90s," but they are clean. The food at the Seven Seas cafe is wonderful family style and service is excellent as long as Dee in on the front desk and Senad is in the Cafe. Pool is also clean and sparkling and the single hot tub by Bldg 2 is lovely. Best value in San Diego. Enjoy!

The staff that i met were all kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and helpfull. I needed FOUR (4) parking passes for my room. "No problem"! I had booked a block of 10 rooms, discovered that i needed 8 more on the last day of availability. The person doing group rooms would not be back in the office till the following Monday. "No problem"! The whole experience was that way. Plus, they are doing amazing upgrades to the property. I'm already excited about next year when i schedule our group back here again.

This hotel was pretty nice for its price. Bed was super comfortable and room was clean. The location itself is super convenient since the shopping malls, downtown, and many other places are within a 10 minute drive.

The property features a saltwater hot tub!! It is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. The best for sore aching muscles. There is a restaurant on site. The grounds are pretty and well maintained. There is a self-serve snack bar (vending machines and microwave) and laundry facility. The rooms are adequate and all have a mini fridge.

Nice hotel with beautiful grounds landscaped ina tropical theme. They do not offer a free breakfast but have a restaurant on site that is open only during the breakfast and dinner hours. Also worth noting... they say the hot tub is kept at 102 degrees but it doesn't seem to be as hot as a jacuzzi is but is only somewhat hot

Best Western Seven Seas San Diego is affordable, clean, and resort-like. It is the kind of place that quietly does exactly what you need without pretending to be something it is not. I chose this hotel for a couple of reasons: free parking, two hot tubs, and location. Checking in is fast and easy, and the ability to park right in front of your room makes everything feel effortless after a long day. There is also a gym, a pool, and two hot tubs, which are the real highlight for any hotel traveler who wants to unwind without leaving the property. When it comes to the rooms, they are exactly what you expect from Best Western, including HBO and a fridge to keep drinks cold. Mission Valley is central to everything San Diego, which means less time driving and more time actually enjoying the city. This is the kind of hotel you book once and then keep in your back pocket for future trips. Overall, the hotel is a solid choice and I would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay at Best Western seven seas. Very surprising low rate. We particularly enjoyed the café, the service was outstanding and very friendly staff was upbeat and fun both in the evening and the next morning. The front counter employee's weren't nearly as friendly as the Cafe but they weren't rude either. We didn't get a chance to use the pool or spa but it looked very nice. The rooms could use some updating but ours was clean and comfortable. We were surprised that there wasn't a coffee maker but I suppose they want you in the Cafe. Overall great experience and can highly recommend Best Western seven seas.

I was looking for a last minute accommodation and did not want to break the bank for a last minute lodging need. I found the Best Western Seven Seas is one of the more inexpensive options in the area. It is what I suppose you might call an old motor lodge, I suspect built during my Boomer childhood. It reminded me of stays during my childhood travels with my family. Quite nice in those times. Best Western Seven Seas is still quite nice. The associates were helpful and politely professional. It did not have many extras in the room and the room was just a bit larger than the bed. It had a dresser with a flat screen TV atop it, a small side table with two comfortable chairs, where one could work or dine, the chairs also adequate for watching TV. The bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked properly, the curtains on the picture window closed properly to block outside light and provide privacy. I don’t recall the room having a coffee maker but do recall a mini fridge. . The bathroom was clean, appliances functioned well, soaps and towels were provided and adequate. I found it a fine hotel for what I was charged. What was outstanding, were the landscaped grounds. The walk to the restaurant is over sidewalks lined with the beautiful foliage of the San Diego coast and was truly enjoyable. I am from the Midwest, use to a different kind of flora so was delighted to get to see the beautiful local plants and was excited to see blooming bird of paradise plants (they really do suggest the appearance of a bird!). There is an independent restaurant on the grounds, not a free continental breakfast. I thought it was reasonably priced and the wait staff and manager were friendly and efficient. My breakfast burrito was also very good. I was traveling alone, and the Best Western Seven Seas exceeded both my needs and expectations.
